The archives of Washington includes thousands of years of native American archives since Europeans and Americans arrived and began to announce territorial claims. The region was portion of Oregon Territory from 1848 to 1853, after which it was not speaking from Oregon and normal as Washington Territory. In 1889, Washington became the 42nd welcome of the United States.
