The chronicles of Washington includes thousands of years of indigenous American archives before Europeans and Americans arrived and began to avow territorial claims. The region was share of Oregon Territory from 1848 to 1853, after which it was on bad terms from Oregon and time-honored as Washington Territory. In 1889, Washington became the 42nd permit of the United States.
